Our advanced forest management system promotes sustainable timber production while conserving the natural environment. To promote a deeper understanding of forest management among the surrounding local communities, we hold annual seminars. Participants in the seminar can enjoy activities such as lectures on planting and nurturing tree saplings and hands-on training for selecting trees to be logged for timber production. Using a minibus, UTHF staff and supporters guide participants to several different spots for the different activities, with occasional short-distance walks to scenic spots in the forest.
