Birds of The University of Tokyo Forests

　The University of Tokyo Forests (UTF) was established for providing forest research and education. UTF has seven branch forest station: Chiba Forest, Hokkaido Forest, Chichibu Forest, Tanashi Forest, Ecohydrology Research Institute (ERI), Fuji Iyashinomori Woodland Study Center (FIWSC),Arboricultural Research Institute(ARI), and has Executive Office and Educattion Research Center on the Yayoi campus in Tokyo.

　UTF has been conducting bird research in each forest station since 2004 to make Bird List and monitoring bird species, and 172 species have been confirmed so far (as of March 31, 2021). This website introduces 715 photographs of 125 species of birds taken in each forest station.
